Awed by nature

From the smallest to the biggest living creature, from Earth to the rest of the
entire universe, life is simply unmeasurable. "I wish I could be closer to nature" I said to myself while watching documentaries on my mobile phone screen. "I wish I could visit the stars" I thought as well. "There's so much we still don't know about life" I concluded while being amazed by animals from the ocean depths dancing in front of me.

Our attention has been flooded with all sorts of entertainment. It's like an endless dimension of information made up by series, video games, social media and other sorts of content. They control our minds to a great extend and their dominance is so powerful that day by day we lose the sense of who we are. They don't stop by sucking our energy but more dreadfully they gave us artificial images of what are asked to persue.

I love working in the tech industry. However, I'm concerned about how disconnected we are now in spite of living in an incredibly connected world. Indeed, our advancement in the technology industry is fascinating but we've left nature behind. We like to see it as a resource but we are not aware we are part of it as well. It's time to change our ways and that's possible if we transform our consciousness first.

I'm surrounded by a comfortable environment but I'm also a prisoner of civilization. That's why, I try to resist the power of our advanced world by reminding myself that nature awaits me. I think that call is impossible to ignore and I feel it stronger and stronger inside of me.

Maybe, I'll be living in the future in a more quiet and peaceful place that I'm sure I would never take for granted. For now though, I'm learning the intrisic laws that are written by nature while I contemplate it on my screen sadly.

I'm glad to be able to write this entry. There are not many people around I could talk to about what I think so this moment feels cathartical and free.
